Material Handler - 2nd shift

Job Title: Material Handler / Forklift Operator (2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)

Job Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for safely moving materials and finished goods throughout the production and warehouse environment. This role supports production flow, inventory accuracy, and on-time shipping by operating material handling equipment and following established safety and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and/or dock loader to move raw materials and finished goods within the facility

• Read and interpret production schedules, customer orders, shipping documents, work orders, and requisitions to determine material movement priorities

• Load and unload trucks while ensuring accuracy and product integrity

• Accurately record materials received, transferred, or distributed in inventory systems or logs

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or service needs promptly

• Follow all company safety policies, operating procedures, and quality standards

• Support production and warehouse teams to ensure efficient workflow during 2nd shift operations

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Previous forklift experience preferred

• Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification

• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Ability to work independently during 2nd shift hours (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)
