Specimen Logistics & Client Services Coordinator
Location: Duarte, CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
FTE Conversion / Extension Possibility: Yes
Position Summary:
The Specimen Logistics & Client Services role is responsible for the handling, support, and transportation of laboratory samples for the Department of Pathology. This position also serves as a key liaison between clients and performing laboratories to ensure timely and accurate service delivery. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to support both operational logistics and client service needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the receipt, processing, and transportation of laboratory specimens

Act as a liaison between external clients and internal performing laboratories

Ensure timely and accurate communication to resolve service-related issues

Coordinate specimen logistics to meet department and client service standards

Maintain high levels of professionalism and responsiveness when handling client interactions

Contribute to the smooth operation of the Department of Pathology through dependable and punctual attendance
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Preferred: Experience in a laboratory specimen receiving or processing department

Preferred: Two (2) years of experience in a customer service-oriented role within a medical or laboratory environment

Preferred: Experience working in a clinical laboratory
