Inspection QC II
Quality Inspector (3rd Shift)
Job Type: Contract
Schedule: Third Shift
Pay Rate: $24.00–$26.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Summary
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to support a 24/7 manufacturing facility producing flexible pipe systems for the oil and gas industry. This role is responsible for inspecting parts and assemblies, documenting non-conformances, and supporting quality systems to ensure products meet engineering specifications and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Inspect parts, assemblies, and subassemblies to drawings and specifications

Initiate non-conformance reports for items not meeting print requirements

Verify manufactured units meet quality control procedures, engineering specifications, and customer requirements

Initiate corrective action requests for recurring quality issues

Partner with manufacturing leadership and internal teams to identify root causes and eliminate quality defects

Complete, review, and distribute quality records and documentation

Perform and verify testing on components and completed assemblies, as required

Support QA and QC assessments, including qualitative risk assessments and root cause analysis

Assist with QMS documentation by creating, editing, and reviewing quality documents
Shift & Schedule
-
Primary Shift: Third shift, 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM
-
Training: Conducted on day and evening shifts prior to transition to nights

First shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
-
Second shift: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM

Facility operates 24/7
-
8-hour shifts, 4 to 6 days per week based on plant needs

Must be available to work weekends, as required

Occasional 12-hour shift coverage may be required
Qualifications
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Prior experience as a Quality Inspector or Quality Technician in a manufacturing environment

Ability to read and interpret drawings, prints, and specifications

Understanding of manufacturing defects and quality standards
-
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
