US-Business Operations Manager I -Pay Rate
Supply Chain Sustainability Analyst / Specialist (HPE Networking)
Overview
HPE Networking Supply Chain Sustainability is a critical function within a high-performing operational organization focused on driving transformational change. This role partners with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to advance sustainability initiatives across the supply chain, with a focus on GHG emissions, circularity, and human rights.
The ideal candidate will support the development and execution of a best-in-class sustainability strategy, identify environmental impact hotspots, and drive measurable improvements across the value chain.
Key Responsibilities
Sustainability Strategy & Program Management
- Support and mature a risk-based supply chain sustainability program aligned with corporate and operational goals
- Drive initiatives related to GHG emissions accounting and reporting, circularity (reuse, repair, recycle, recover), and human rights compliance
- Partner with IT and business teams to prioritize sustainability performance across the value chain
Data, Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain dashboards and tracking tools for sustainability KPIs, supplier maturity, audits, and compliance metrics
- Track and monitor Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) corrective action plans and supplier progress
- Support carbon accounting frameworks and sustainability-related reporting requirements
- Assist with internal and customer-driven data requests
Supplier & Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate supplier outreach and follow-ups for programs such as Responsible Minerals, emissions reduction, and circularity initiatives
- Engage with internal stakeholders and external partners to align on sustainability priorities and expectations
- Support supplier training programs, including scheduling, materials, and participation tracking
- Monitor smelter conformance and support risk mitigation efforts
Circularity & Environmental Initiatives
- Identify sustainability hotspots across emissions, materials, and e-waste, and recommend reduction strategies
- Promote circularity best practices and support end-of-life product management processes
- Contribute to development of internal policies for managing returned, scrapped, or end-of-life equipment
Customer & Business Alignment
- Engage with key customers to understand sustainability expectations and support roadmap development
- Hold internal stakeholders accountable to sustainability milestones and commitments
- Support sustainability positioning, including carbon accounting and green finance frameworks
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong interest in sustainability, environmental impact, and responsible supply chain practices
- Knowledge of high-tech industry operations, including outsourced supply chains, emissions profiles, and waste management
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as Engineering, Sales, EHSS, Compliance, and Legal
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Solid project management skills, including planning, prioritization, and execution
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting sustainability initiatives within engineering, design, or business environments
- Familiarity with circular economy principles and environmentally conscious design practices
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and comfort working with data
- Ability to think strategically while executing tactically
- Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset and adaptability in dynamic environments
