Documentation Support Specialist
Document Control Specialist / Documentation Support Specialist

Position Summary
The Document Control Specialist will provide administrative and document management support to the documentation team at the Lufkin facility. This role is responsible for organizing, scanning, maintaining, and processing both customer and internal documentation while ensuring all records are accurate, complete, and properly stored.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both physical and electronic documents in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and quality are critical.
Key Responsibilities
- Scan, organize, and maintain physical and electronic documentation in accordance with company standards
- Perform data entry and maintain records within the company ERP system (Oracle); training will be provided
- Organize, edit, and manage PDF documentation using tools such as Adobe Acrobat or Kofax
- Maintain document filing systems, including both hard copy and electronic records
- Assist documentation specialists with assembling customer document packages
- Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with filing procedures
- Follow company document retention and document control processes
- Collaborate with team members to support daily documentation operations
- Prioritize quality and accuracy while meeting documentation deadlines
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in document control, administrative support, records management, or document organization
- Experience scanning, indexing, and maintaining documentation
- Basic computer proficiency, including working with PDFs and document management systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently after training
- Dependable work ethic with strong accuracy and follow-through
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle
- Experience using Adobe Acrobat, Kofax, or similar PDF/document management tools
- Prior experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or operations environments is a plus
