Customer Service Representative (Specialty Pharmacy)

Location: Phoenix, AZ 85004
Schedule: M-F- 9:30AM-6:00PM MST
Pay Rate: $19.00/hr
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire / Full-Time




Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Data Entry / Customer Service Representative to provide overflow support to the Specialty Pharmacy team. This role is responsible for creating and updating patient accounts, ensuring data accuracy, and assisting with case management while maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.

The ideal candidate has strong data entry accuracy, excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment that requires multitasking and problem-solving under pressure.




Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate data entry for patient accounts and case creation.

  • Update and maintain account information received from Medical Billers and internal departments.

  • Provide overflow customer service support to multiple teams as needed.

  • Ensure all information is entered with precision and in compliance with departmental standards.

  • Use CRM or tracking systems (Salesforce preferred) to log data, track cases, and maintain accurate records.

  • Handle high-volume workloads efficiently while meeting established quality and productivity standards.

  • Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and strong judgment in all patient and team interactions.

  • Actively participate in feedback and coaching sessions to improve accuracy and performance.




Required Qualifications

  • Proven data entry accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Prior experience in Specialty Pharmacy, Healthcare, or Customer Service environments preferred.

  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), web-based applications, and keyboarding skills.

  • Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

  • Excellent judgment, decision-making, and communication skills under time-sensitive conditions.

  • Dependable with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

  • Receptive to feedback and adaptable to process improvements.




Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) or database management tools.

  • Previous experience within a healthcare, pharmaceutical, or specialty pharmacy setting.

  • Understanding of challenges faced by patients managing medical conditions or medication access.
