Job Title: Business Transformation Project Manager (Project Manager II)
Location: Houston TX, Cleveland, OH, Chicago, IL, or Remote.
End-Client: Large Oil & Gas Company
Pay: $69 - $77.98/hr.
Onsite Flexibility: 60/40 hybrid
Assignment Length: 12 months with possibility of extending
Role Summary:
The Business Transformation Project Management contractor will contribute to high priority, high visibility transformation initiatives for the Mobility & Convenience (M&C) Americas business, reporting to the Head of Change & Project Management.
In this role, the primary focus will be on facilitating smooth implementation and integration activities within and across the US Convenience & Mobility, US Fleet Mobility, and Retail Business Support verticals. This involves coordinating with various partners, departments, and teams to ensure that projects are executed efficiently and effectively as well as actively contributing to strategic growth and cost management projects.
- Project Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute project plans that align with organizational goals. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Process Mapping & Assessment: Gather process and technical requirements by impacted role for complex transformation initiatives. Conduct thorough analysis of workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend actionable improvements. Facilitate sessions to engage stakeholders in process redesign and operational enhancement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Communicate project progress, risks, and changes effectively to ensure alignment and buy-in.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify potential project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure timely project delivery while minimizing disruptions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to drive project success. Ensure all dependencies, milestones, and deliverables are met in accordance with the project timeline and scope.
- Performance Monitoring: Track project performance against established metrics, providing regular updates and reports to senior management. Analyze key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify potential project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure timely project delivery while minimizing disruptions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to drive project success. Ensure all dependencies, milestones, and deliverables are met in accordance with the project timeline and scope.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in project management, program management, or business analysis, preferably in a complex organizational environment
- PMP certification or other relevant project management certification, a plus
- Proven track record in stakeholder management and relationship building, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience managing operational, program, and/or project financial budgets
- High-level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project
- Knowledge of fuels marketing, sales operations, and/or retail convenience, a plus
