Forklift Operator - Mid Shift
Forklift Operator / Material Handler (Mid-Shift)
Location: Greer, SC 29651
Schedule: Mid-shift (8 hours); weekdays (confirm exact start/end with site)
Employment Type: Contract To Hire
Pay Rate: $15.50/hr
Job Summary
Operate powered industrial equipment (forklift, pallet jack, dock loader) to move, stage, load, and unload materials in a production/warehouse environment. Follow production/work/shipping orders to pull and distribute items, record material movements, and maintain safe, clean equipment and work areas in accordance with site policies.
Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and dock loaders to move product/materials.

Read production schedules, customer/work/shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

Record quantities of materials/items received, distributed, or moved.

Maintain equipment in a safe and clean condition; submit service requests as needed.

Adhere to all safety rules, operating instructions, and company procedures.

Support general warehouse/production material flow as assigned.
Qualifications

Experience: Prior warehouse or production material-handling experience required.

Licenses/Certifications: Forklift operation certification preferred (may be required by site).

Skills: Reading/understanding English (safety & order accuracy), basic recordkeeping, safe equipment operation.

Other: Ability to follow standard work, PPE compliance, dependable attendance.

Sit-down/stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, dock loaders (as assigned by site).
