Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator) - 1st shift

Shift: 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations. This role is responsible for safely operating forklifts, handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments
  • Verify contents of orders against packing slips, tickets, or receipts
  • Pull, stage, and prepare orders for shipment
  • Sort and distribute packages according to designated routes or storage locations
  • Perform data entry to accurately log inventory, shipments, and order details
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and transactions
  • Ensure warehouse organization and cleanliness at all times
  • Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Requirements:

  • Valid forklift certification required
  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment
  • Experience with data entry and inventory logging systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics operations
