Warehouse Worker - Honda - 1st Shift

Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17/hr

Job Description:

• This 1st shift spot will be for Paint department

• This entails a lot of walking, going up and down steps, and pulling trash bags

• Lots of walking, please share and verify job description duties with candidates before submission

PPE:

• Steel Toe shoes

• Safety Glasses

• Bump cap or hard hat

• Gloves and Ear protection is optional

• Can provide Safety glasses and bump cap if needed

Responsibilities:

• As a warehouse team member you will assist in supporting Honda’s recycling efforts

• A majority of your day will be spent gathering and sorting various types of material for recycling throughout the plant

• As part of the process, you may be required to drive a tugger around the plant

• In addition, you will spend time working on the sorting line, sorting cardboard from other materials for recycling

• The sorting line requires standing, walking and climbing stairs

• Also, you will work with another team member(s) breaking down and baling large cardboard boxes and baling plastic tray and plastic sheeting

• The person who fills this position must be able to multitask

• It is a labor-intensive position with a lot of lifting empty boxes over your head, walking and standing
