Location: Windsor, CT 06095 (Hybrid – Onsite Mon–Thurs)
Pay Rate: $70/hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a senior-level Business Analyst to join the SBS (Strategic Business Solutions) National Accounts division. In this role, you’ll serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, with a strong focus on business process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution alignment. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, process-driven, and experienced in Agile environments with a passion for stakeholder interaction and business process documentation.




Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering and documentation for system enhancements and new features.

  • Conduct business process analysis to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and technical teams to align business needs with technical solutions.

  • Create and manage user stories, business requirements documents (BRDs), swim lane diagrams, and process models.

  • Facilitate workshops and interviews with business users to elicit functional and technical requirements.

  • Support testing and QA processes, including reviewing test scenarios and validating business requirements.

  • Assist in scoping efforts, ROI calculation, and roadmap development.

  • Ensure traceability between business needs and system designs.

  • Actively participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.




Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in Agile requirement analysis, user story writing, and backlog management.

  • Expertise in analyzing business processes, data flows, and functional requirements.

  • Skilled in business process modeling, including Swim Lane Diagrams and Business Process Model Development.

  • Proven experience with project scoping and ROI analysis.

  • Demonstrated experience in User Story requirements management and Agile project execution.

  • Industry experience in Utilities and/or Waste Management.

  • Hands-on experience working onsite with business teams, facilitating discussions and documenting complex workflows.




Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Agile environment tools: JIRA, Confluence

  • Technical exposure: Snowflake, SQL, Data Modeling, Data Mapping, Data Lineage

  • CRM and ERP systems: Salesforce, SAP, other cloud CRM solutions

  • Experience in system implementation or software delivery environments

  • CCBA or CBAP certification highly desirable
