Principal Demand Planning & Supply Chain Data Analytics Consultant

Project-Based | Hybrid (3 Onsite / 2 Remote)

Are you a highly skilled data analytics developer with deep experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and large-scale ERP/MRP data? We’re seeking a hands-on expert who can move fast, collaborate in agile sprints, and deliver impactful analytics solutions in a modern technical environment with minimal red tape.

This is a project-based role.

Immediate availability to start is required.

About the Role

This position is ideal for a hands-on advanced Snowflake, Python, SQL, and full-stack data analytics developer with proven experience in manufacturing and supply chain environments. You’ll work with modern platforms, large datasets, and interactive analytics tools to support operations, finance, and business intelligence initiatives.

The work environment enables rapid application development, quick access to APIs and technology resources, and tight collaboration within a strong, supportive team.

Schedule & Work Model

  • 8-hour workday, flexible start/end (e.g., 7am–4pm or 8am–5pm)
  • Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
  • Virtual interview process (two rounds)

Top Required Skills

  • Hands-on Snowflake SQL experience
  • Hands-on Python experience
  • Prior development using Sigma, QlikView, Streamlit, Power BI, or similar analytics applications
  • 3+ years working with ERP or MRP data
  • ERP implementations (finance or operations) and business intelligence experience
  • Rapid Application Development (RAD) experience
  • Familiarity with agile sprints (daily touchpoints, weekly sprint planning, ad-hoc syncs)

Key Responsibilities

Deep Technical Execution

  • Advanced Python and Snowflake SQL development
  • Snowflake architecture and environment migration
  • Interactive visualizations (Power BI, Sigma, QlikView, or Streamlit)
  • GitHub automation & CI/CD workflows
  • Cloud-native deployments & containerization
  • API and service-account design
  • Test-driven development (TDD) and safe rollback strategies
  • Handling large-scale relational datasets (millions of rows)

Business Process Fluency

  • Work with ERP and MRP systems and data structures
  • Understand manufacturing and supply chain workflows:
    • Order-to-Cash
    • Procure-to-Pay
    • Demand-to-Deliver
  • Support enterprise-scale operational processes

Communication & Impact

  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Explain technical issues in terms of business impact and ROI
  • Demonstrate measurable value through analytics
  • Work effectively with teams across multiple geographies

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5+ years of data science or data analytics experience in manufacturing and/or supply chain
  • Hands-on experience with ERP operational processes
  • Ability to clearly communicate to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency in Snowflake and SQL
  • Strong proficiency with Snowflake
  • Strong experience in dashboarding and interactive visualizations (Power BI, Sigma, QlikView, or Streamlit)
  • Experience deploying enterprise-scale cloud solutions
  • Proficiency with large database sets.
  • Proficiency in data visualization libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly)
  • Familiarity with agile development and CI/CD
  • Ability to manage GitHub repositories and create automated workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver ROI-driven analytics solutions
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across geographies
  • Ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical projects
  • Experience with containerized solutions and secure API/service-account configurations
  • Experience with TDD, production-safe deployments, and rollback strategies

Additional Technical & Environment Notes

  • Work involves MRP data and Oracle Cloud ERP (SAP data experience also acceptable)
  • Business logic is primarily managed within the database
  • Front-end tools may include Python, React, or other technical stacks
  • Large datasets (often 20M rows)
  • Rapid development environment with minimal barriers to access keys and APIs
  • Team utilizes tools like OpenAI to accelerate development
  • Tight-knit team culture with daily collaboration
