Rate: $23/HR
Must have a KS license

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role involves performing a range of technical and administrative tasks to support the accurate fulfillment and dispensing of prescriptions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and a thorough understanding of pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry, record keeping, and prescription adjudication

• Package medications and manage related fulfillment tasks

• Provide inbound and outbound customer service support via telephone

• Contact physicians for prescription refill authorizations

• Collect and verify pertinent patient information

• Assist the pharmacist in maintaining documentation and procedures in accordance with federal and state regulations

• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Certifications (both required):

• Active registration with the Kansas State Board of Pharmacy

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)

Experience:

• 2–4 years of recent experience working as a pharmacy technician in a licensed pharmacy

• Retail or specialty pharmacy experience preferred

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficient computer skills

• Outstanding customer service and communication abilities (verbal and written)

• Highly detail-oriented, accurate, and efficient

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
