Responsibilities: Manages engineering programs through coordination of multiple projects across multiple disciplines including but not limited to the different engineering job families (e.g., electrical, systems, mechanical, etc.).
Manages the life cycle of the program ensuring the deadlines are achieved and day-to-day functions of the program and related projects take place as required.
Coordinates activities through direct and indirect staff.
Works with engineering management to identify and improve overall efficiency of the program in the future.Entry: Applies basic foundation of a functions principles, theories and concepts to assignments of limited scope.
Utilizes professional concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education or previous experience.
Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters.
Develops expertise and practical knowledge of applications within business environment.
Acts as team member by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts.Associates or Bachelors Degree related to engineering or substantial work experience (4-6 years).Experience with project or team management.
