Data Entry Clerk II
Data Entry Clerk II (Remote)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Mountain Time)
Location Requirement: Must reside in New Mexico and work within the Mountain Time Zone
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk II to support report intake, review, and data entry activities in a collaborative team environment. This role focuses on reviewing incoming reports for accuracy, correcting errors when needed, and entering information into internal and external systems. The position also involves regular written and verbal communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Review incoming reports for completeness and accuracy
- Enter and update information in internal and external systems
- Identify and correct report errors when necessary
- Access and work within multiple platforms simultaneously to review reports, search data, and make corrections
- Communicate with agencies by phone to clarify or obtain reports
- Provide education regarding critical incident reporting
- Maintain ongoing communication with team members and stakeholders via email and collaboration tools
- Perform data entry and utilize Excel for reporting-related tasks
Required Skills
- English reading, speaking, and writing proficiency
- Understanding of patient confidentiality laws related to personal health information
- Strong keyboarding and computer literacy skills
- Customer service skills and professional phone etiquette
- Professional email communication skills
- Comfort using Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Teams
- Strong time management and organizational skills
Preferred
- Data analysis skills
Experience
- 1–2 years of relevant experience
Work Environment Requirements
- Dedicated workspace that is noise-free
- Stable internet connectivity with 100 Mbps upload and 20 Mbps download speeds
- Internet service must be provided through cable or fiber
- DSL, satellite, and wireless broadband are not acceptable
- Router must have at least two ethernet ports capable of maintaining gigabit speed connections
- Router must be located in the same room as the workspace
- Thin clients and Chromebooks are not permitted

- Wired keyboard and mouse
- Wired USB headset (Logitech, Jabra, Plantronics, or Sennheiser)
