Lead Sourcing Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and comprehensive sourcing hypotheses are developed during the tender phase to secure profitable projects.

• Lead sourcing activities during project execution, coordinating negotiations with commodity managers and local buyers.

• Independently negotiate selected commodities and manage supplier claims.

• Advise functional managers on sourcing-related project strategies, processes, and procedures.

• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding sourcing design, coordination, and delivered services.

• Contribute as a core project team member or lead smaller sourcing initiatives.

• Manage work objectives with a typical completion timeframe of 3–6 months, with results impacting the business within 2–12 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Sourcing.

• At least 3 additional years of experience in Tender and Project Sourcing.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with relevant experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication skills with both internal customers and external suppliers.

• Proven negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience using SAP, Oracle, and/or other ERP systems.
