Equipment Assembler
Equipment Assembler (Contract-to-Hire Opportunity)
Location: Cambridge, MD
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Duration: 90-day assignment with potential for full-time conversion
Start Date: ASAP
Work Environment: Regulator room (onsite role)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Equipment Assembler to join a team-oriented environment. This role involves assembling equipment, following detailed procedures, and supporting production operations while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble equipment by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Work collaboratively within a team environment
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical or operational issues
- Operate a computer for task-related activities
- Participate in cross-training across different functions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and SOPs
- Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity
- Comfortable working with computers
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Team-oriented mindset
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Work involves heights less than 4 feet
- Exposure to non-toxic chemicals
- Required PPE: safety glasses and safety boots
