Medicare Materials Coordinator
Medicare Content Coordinator
100% Remote
Schedule: Estimated 25 hours per week; flexible hours within regular business hours
Equipment Requirement: Dual monitors and a docking station required
Position Overview
The Medicare Content Coordinator is responsible for reviewing and coordinating state approval for public website content across 18 Medicare health plans. This role supports the communication of Medicare and Medicare-Medicaid (MMP) product benefits in alignment with strategic and corporate business objectives. The position also manages the annual review and approval of core beneficiary communications—including the Medicare Summary of Benefits, Annual Notice of Change (ANOC)/Evidence of Coverage (EOC), and Provider Directories (print and online)—while ensuring all materials and public website content meet CMS compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage the review process for Medicare and MMP materials, including ANOC/EOC, Summary of Benefits, Provider Directories, and public website content.

Ensure all content adheres to CMS guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to maintain accuracy and timely updates.

Monitor and control project quality by tracking accuracy, identifying risks, and making necessary course corrections.

Provide interim reports and regular progress updates to sponsors and stakeholders.

Stay informed of current CMS communications, regulations, and guidance relevant to applicable projects.

Support the Medicare and MMP lines of business in business readiness for each new contract year.
Required Qualifications
Education:
-
Associate degree in Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Communications, or English.
Experience:

1 year of experience in project management.

1–2 years of experience in Information Technology or database content management system environments.
Preferred Qualifications
-
3–5 years of experience in project coordination, project management, business analysis, or compliance.
