Material Handler I

Job Purpose:
Assist with inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, audits, and adjustments. Serve as a key contact point for warehouse-related functions within the service center.

Key Interactions:

• Internal: Service workshop, Customer Service, QHSES, Warehouse/Logistics, Procurement
• External: Providers, Logistics operators

Main Responsibilities:

• Support all warehouse duties including picking, packing, and storing products; operate various material handling equipment to facilitate tasks
• Load and unload trucks in accordance with safety and operational procedures
• Prepare shipments by staging, counting, documenting, and packaging materials for safe transport
• Distribute received shipments by delivering materials to requestors and processing related paperwork
• Assist with physically locating materials within the warehouse
• Maintain SAP inventory records by weighing, measuring, and attaching identification tags to materials
• Support inventory control activities through customer audits and cycle counts

Job Scope:
Perform basic daily warehouse tasks under supervision, following detailed written and verbal instructions.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Knowledge and experience with tools, equipment, and warehouse techniques
