Material Handler - 1st shift

Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations by efficiently moving, identifying, and organizing materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial vehicles, strong attention to detail, and the physical capability to manage repetitive lifting and extended periods of standing in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.

• Identify materials using part numbers or written descriptions.

• Manually move materials on and off pallets, shelves, and staging areas.

• Convey materials from storage or work areas to designated locations.

• Count, weigh, and record units of materials handled on daily production sheets.

• Assemble crates when required for product containment.

• Attach identifying tags or labels to materials and mark containers as needed.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including cleaning machines and equipment.

• Follow all safety rules, guidelines, and regulations.

Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

• Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds.

• Experience with forklifts or powered industrial vehicles preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and reliability in completing assigned tasks.
