Job Title: Payroll Coordinator
Max Bill Rate: $25/HR
 




Job Purpose

The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for managing all contractual, fiscal, insurance, and social security matters related to personnel—both payroll and non-payroll. This role supports the HR team and leverages internal systems to ensure accurate and timely execution of payroll operations.

Internal:

  • Legal

  • Administration

  • Finance

  • Accounts & Cost Control

  • HR and Compensation & Benefits (C&B) teams

External:

  • Social Security Institutes

  • Labor Office

  • Tax Authorities

  • Audit Firms




Main Responsibilities

  • Participate in industrial relations discussions related to payroll matters.

  • Execute both collective and individual compensation policies.

  • Process payroll accurately, ensuring compliance with contributions, taxes, and payment deadlines.

  • Maintain professional relationships with insurance and social security institutions.

  • Provide guidance on compensation, taxation, and contributions.

  • Develop and enforce consistent payroll procedures across all company units, branches, and subsidiaries.

  • Maintain and update payroll system data.

  • Oversee and ensure accuracy of payroll administration tasks (e.g., pay slips, benefits, deductions).

  • Manage supplementary pension fund formalities and related tax applications.

  • Oversee income tax reporting, end-of-service benefits, and their timely processing.

  • Ensure accurate charging of man-hours to appropriate projects.

  • Maintain integrity and accuracy of HR data systems.




Role Scope

  • Functional Scope: Payroll, Social Security, Income Tax, Benefits & Perquisites

  • External Interface: Direct interaction with public institutions and government bodies

  • Population Scope: Approximately 1,000 employees




Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum education: high school diploma or GED equivalent)

  • At least 2 years of experience in payroll or related HR functions

  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and labor/tax compliance

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
