Warehouse Worker - Mercedes
Position: 1st Shift – Battery Plant
Shift Hours: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Location: Vance, AL
Pay Rate: $15/hr
Job Summary:
This position involves moving products or materials within a production or warehouse environment using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or dock loaders. The role requires reading production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine the necessary items to move, gather, or distribute. You will also be responsible for accurately recording the amounts of materials or items received and distributed.
Key Responsibilities:

Safely move materials and products using forklifts, pallet jacks, or dock loaders within a production or warehouse setting.

Review and follow production schedules, customer orders, work orders, or requisitions to determine what items need to be moved, gathered, or shipped.

Accurately document the amounts of materials or items received and distributed.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring equipment is properly handled and reporting any service needs as required.

Follow safety protocols, company procedures, and operational instructions at all times.

May require certification for forklift operation.
