This position supports an internal initiative to merge two existing operational processes into a single streamlined procedure. The role requires strong document control, process development, and technical writing skills—with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and alignment with updated terminology and compliance frameworks.

Role Overview
This position supports an internal initiative to merge two existing operational processes into a single streamlined procedure. The role requires strong document control, process development, and technical writing skills—with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and alignment with updated terminology and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Merge two existing operational processes into one cohesive procedure.
- Update operational purpose statements, guidelines, and terminology.
- Conduct document clean-up and ensure consistency in formatting and language.
- Create and maintain procedure documents, including routing and approval workflows.
- Coordinate with SMEs for reviews, feedback, and final draft approval.
- Handle technical documentation flow from draft to published state.
- Manage SharePoint routing tasks, version control, and document movement.
- Track drafts, revisions, and procedural updates.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings related to review cycles.
- Support the procedure process routing and documentation lifecycle.
- Utilize Power BI for reporting/tracking as needed.
- Ensure NERC (North American Electric Reliability Corporation) compliance considerations where applicable.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of direct experience performing this exact type of work (process documentation, procedure updates, routing workflows).
- Experience creating, editing, and managing technical/operational procedures.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint document routing and version management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and overall document handling.
- Experience coordinating with SMEs and managing review cycles.
- Familiarity with handling technical documentation in a regulated environment.
- Utility industry experience strongly preferred.
- Power BI exposure is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred OR Associate degree with strong relevant experience.
