Project Manager I

Position Title: Project Manager I (Transmission Focus)
Location: Hybrid (Remote and Onsite – within reasonable commute to designated facility)

Position Overview:
This position is typically retained to manage multiple White or Green I projects per the Project Management Center of Excellence Project Profile Matrix. The ideal candidate will have extensive transmission project management experience and a strong understanding of utility industry practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
• Graduation from a two-year college or university
• Working knowledge of project management principles
• Proficiency in project management, decision making, critical thinking, and problem solving
• Relevant project-related work experience
• Experience in risk management and project leadership
• Proven ability as a collaborative team member

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduation from a four-year college or university
• Utility technical certifications and training
• PMI (PMP or CAPM) Certification
• CMII certificates
• Professional Engineer License
• Working knowledge of project scheduling and cost controls
• Experience in the utility industry
• Knowledge of construction management

Additional Qualifications:

• Ability to build relationships with individuals across organizational levels, from contributors to senior leadership
• Experience participating in oversight proceedings involving utility companies or affiliates (if applicable; please specify agency, dates, responsibilities, and proceedings)

Working Conditions:
