Project Manager I
Position Title: Project Manager I (Transmission Focus)
Location: Hybrid (Remote and Onsite – within reasonable commute to designated facility)
Position Overview:
This position is typically retained to manage multiple White or Green I projects per the Project Management Center of Excellence Project Profile Matrix. The ideal candidate will have extensive transmission project management experience and a strong understanding of utility industry practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
- Graduation from a two-year college or university
- Working knowledge of project management principles
- Proficiency in project management, decision making, critical thinking, and problem solving
- Relevant project-related work experience
- Experience in risk management and project leadership
- Proven ability as a collaborative team member
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduation from a four-year college or university
- Utility technical certifications and training
- PMI (PMP or CAPM) Certification
- CMII certificates
- Professional Engineer License
- Working knowledge of project scheduling and cost controls
- Experience in the utility industry
- Knowledge of construction management
Additional Qualifications:
- Ability to build relationships with individuals across organizational levels, from contributors to senior leadership
- Experience participating in oversight proceedings involving utility companies or affiliates (if applicable; please specify agency, dates, responsibilities, and proceedings)
Working Conditions:
- Hybrid work environment combining remote and onsite work after onboarding
- Candidates must reside within a reasonable commute to the designated facility
