Work Model: Temp-to-Hire → Hybrid after Permanent Conversion

Position Summary
The Patient Access Specialist supports specialty pharmacy operations by accurately entering and updating patient information, creating new cases, and providing overflow customer service support across multiple teams. This position requires strong accuracy, excellent time management, and the ability to communicate clearly in fast-paced, time-sensitive situations. This is a temp-to-hire role with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule after permanent conversion.
Key Responsibilities

Perform precise data entry including creation and updating of patient accounts and cases.

Support customer service overflow needs across various internal teams.

Review documentation from medical billers and update patient information accordingly.

Navigate CRM systems, Microsoft Office, email, and web-based applications.

Communicate clearly with patients, providers, and internal partners in high-pressure situations.

Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Apply feedback and coaching to continuously improve performance.

Maintain reliable attendance and professional work ethic.
Required Qualifications

Strong and accurate data entry skills; high-volume experience preferred.

Experience in specialty pharmacy or customer service preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications.

Ability to communicate effectively in fast-paced, problem-solving scenarios.

Strong multitasking, organization, and time management skills.

Dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive.

Receptive to feedback and coaching.
Preferred Experience
-
Experience with CRM systems, especially Salesforce.

Background in healthcare, pharmacy, pharmaceutical services, or patient support.

Understanding of challenges associated with patients’ chronic or complex medical conditions.
