The key responsibility focuses on the strategic post order management/PO Follow
Up/expediting of our suppliers and preparing reports related to On time delivery,
delay analysis, updating PO delivery dates etc as requested by management. The
expeditor shall be accountable for the on time delivery of the parts and
documentation and in conformity to the purchase order specifications. Furthermore
he/she shall ensure documented order close out including but not limited to shipping/
receiving discrepancies, invoice discrepancies, effective contribution to increased back
charges in relation to cost of deficiencies and provide support to claims management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Comply to Project Order Management / Expediting Procedure based on the
supplier, critical parts, critical suppliers etc
Determine the critical Equipment with regard to the delivery date.
Monitor and support kick-off meetings with suppliers.
Participate in pre-inspection meetings for critical equipment if required.
Monitor Purchase order delivery dates (by email, phone calls, etc.) and report
any nonconformity to delivery time, purchase order requirements and raise
appropriate alerts to the projects/planning team when delay detected.
Conduct expediting visits to suppliers with reinforced expediting in case of
failing suppliers and raise appropriate alerts to the project when delay detected.
Compile and issue expediting visit reports as well as minutes of meetings held
with suppliers.
Proactively monitor all supplier activities from design development, material
procurement phase, manufacturing and testing process as well as shipping
preparation
Review vendor progress reports, fabrication schedules and raise appropriate
alerts to the project in case of deviations.
Interface with suppliers, engineering & Inspection department to monitor
VDDR or any other technical queries that is delaying the production and
expedite the replies
Monitor and address delayed critical vendor documentation from supplier
based on document status by Doc. Control,

Follow up with the suppliers on an open points / punch list, in cooperation
with various disciplines.
Manage third party agencies.
Identify potential areas of concerns or delays with deliveries and initiate
appropriate corrective actions. Collecting recovery plan from supplier followed
by supporting plan review by AL.
Enter tracking data and keep up to date the progress management tool
Dashboard manual tables or SAP database, based on project requirements
Compile and issue monthly expediting reports, following the guidelines of the.
Manage and collect all relevant information such as schedules, actual
progress, deficiencies and maintain a claim dossier for each PO. Provide support
to the claim leader in negotiating claims with the supplier.
Ensure appropriate commercial/ contractual notifications are in place (in
collaboration with Buyer
Provide input to post order supplier performance evaluation

EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree in business/purchasing / Engineering or 5 plus years of relevant
buying/expediting/post order management/supply chain experience
EXPERIENCE
At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working with machining, castings, and raw materials supplier
Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, G Suite).
