• Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Hours: 40 hours per week
  (Some overtime and occasional late finishes may be required)
• Work Environment: Warehouse / Manufacturing Facility

Position Summary

The Material Handler / Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the facility to support daily warehouse and production operations.
This role requires consistent forklift and PIV operation, physical endurance, and strict adherence to safety standards.
Successful performance during the contract period may lead to full-time employment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Load, unload, transport, and move materials throughout the facility
• Operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV), including forklifts and tuggers, along assigned routes
• Manually move materials onto or from pallets, bins, boxes, and shelves
• Convey materials from storage or work sites to designated areas
• Assemble crates to contain products when required
• Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on containers
• Clean and maintain work areas, machines, and equipment
• Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Perform additional material handling duties as assigned

Qualifications (Required)

• Forklift operation experience
• Stable employment history
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to occasionally lift 35–40 pounds
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work overtime when required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating tugger-style PIV equipment
• Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience
• Familiarity with material routing or inventory movement processes
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
