Test Technician II

This position is on the $$$$$ Campus in Roseville, CA 95747

HPE is on the forefront of technology, developing the next generation Servers, data storage and network equipment. We are seeking an enthusiastic Test Technician willing to learn, and grow in the server lab environment.

• Provide troubleshooting for Computer Server hardware and software issues, applying appropriate training and methodologies .
• Expert knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (365), and MS Teams is required.
• Ability to read and strictly follow complex instructions and block diagrams.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including Ticketing, Bills of Materials (BOM), wiring diagrams, and training manuals.
• Safely lift and move up to 50 lbs. of products and/or materials unassisted. Maintain a clean and organized workspace (aisles and workbench and server cabling) and use hand tools as necessary.
• Work effectively with remote test developers/integrators worldwide via MS Teams to coordinate server set-up, testing and resolve technical hurdles.
• Learn and utilize software applications to submit parts orders and generate shipping and customs documents. Maintain accurate inventory and shipment tracking records.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting processes and collaborating globally.
• Previous experience with hand tools and a working knowledge of Linux are considered significant advantages.
• Work hours M-F 8am to 5pm
